Christadelphian Heritage College Melbourne (CHCM) is a co-educational school located in the foothills of the beautiful Dandenong Ranges thirty kilometres east of the centre of Melbourne.
The school commenced operation in February 2010 with a Primary School for students from Prep to Year 6. In 2011 it expanded to include a Secondary School for Year 7. An extra level will be added each year until Year 12 in 2016.
CHCM is a small school with 59 students this year, 2012, and a final limit of approximately one hundred and fifty students in total. Its environmental goal is to be a suburban school with all the benefits of a rural location.
We welcome you to look through this website and discover all the benefits your children could experience in being educated at Christadelphian Heritage College Melbourne.
Our school motto has been chosen to represent the foundation and purpose of Christadelphian Heritage College Melbourne. It is taken from the Bible, John 17:3. The knowledge of students at the College will grow in many ways, God willing.
"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent..."
That they might know principles of Godly living that will serve them well throughout their lives. That they might know the joy and comfort of happy school days spent in a safe, loving environment, the foundation of which will serve them well all their lives. That they might know the adventure of learning, particularly in a beautiful environment that will teach them so much about the beauty and wonder of God's creation. That they might know all the information and skills they will need to survive and prosper in the world we live in. That they might know the qualities of care and compassion for others that are central to the teaching of Jesus Christ. That they might know the satisfaction of discovering their own unique talents and developing them to their highest potential. That they might know to love and respect their God and His word, the Bible. That they might know happy memories of school times, of camps and concerts, of adventures, all shared with schoolmates who will remain their friends throughout life. That they might know the benefits of being part of a school community of 'like precious faith', supporting and complementing the leading role of parents in bringing up their children. That they might know that winning isn't everything, but doing their personal best is a great victory, for others as well as self. That they might know how to enjoy communicating with all age groups; their parents, teachers, elders and juniors, as well as their peers. That they might know the friendship of teachers who care for them and work with them to enable them to be the best they can, and the encouragement of fellow students helping each other along the way.
